In 1998, Tiffany received the 50 millionth copy of the Book of Hope in the district of Chorrillos in Lima, Peru. When little 5th grader Tiffany had invited the team to her house, they arrived in time to see the repo men taking the roof off her family’s tiny barrio home. Her dad was an alcoholic, and he couldn’t provide for the family. Tiffany and her family attended a HopeFest Celebration where she and her mother came forward to receive Christ as Savior. Soon her entire family, including her dad, had come to Christ. Today, Tiffany is still following Jesus and has a passion for children’s ministry. She has a degree in Pharmaceutical Technology and another one in Education. She is involved with her local church and owns a small school, called Estrellitas de Amor (Little Stars of Love) that she began out of her home, and teaches 36 children from 3 to 5 years old. Tiffany is responsible for the administration of the school and employs two other teachers to help her in her work with children. She would like to continue studying and expand the school for disadvantaged children. She still has many pictures from the day she received the 50 millionth Book of Hope and recalls her 5th grade as the year that God did incredible things in her life and her family.
