In July 2011, OneHope completed research to follow up on a few of the findings revealed in the Attitude and Behaviors of Youth (ABY) Filipino Youth Report of 2009. This extension report found that students described a family as being complete and together most frequently, specifically listing a mother, father and children composing a family unit. More students in both groups stated that they wanted their parents to work in country so that they could be together. The majority of students also reported that they will not choose the same job, working abroad, as their parents because they want to be part of their own families. Both groups reported that they view a successful future as keys to success and happiness in life.
