In September 2013, OneHope completed a validation report of the En Tus Manos (ETM) program in Chile to determine both the effectiveness of the program as well as to identify potential improvements. The research revealed that significantly more respondents reported that they attend church (or religious services) in the post-survey, compared with the pre-survey. Additionally, 73% said that the ETM video caused them to think about their faith and 76% said the program overall caused them to think differently about it. In general, the statistically findings were not significant, but still suggested positive changes between the pre- and post-tests. Modifications to the program were made as a result of the research. read more

In April 2011, OneHope completed an assessment for ministry design of Bayside Church’s outreach ministry in the Pride Park community of Florida. The assessment revealed that the ministry has been consistently growing over time and that Bayside volunteers have built individual relationships with residents. Volunteers give away food and clothing and meet other practical needs of residents. Additionally, the outreach ministry brings kids together who previously had no relationship and creates community among them. However, there is a lack of Spanish speakers in the ministry, outreach is usually only once a week and there is little interest among Bayside volunteers to work with other churches. read more
