Designed for visually impaired children (ages 10-15) in North America, the New Beginnings Audio Book of Hope is available via MP3 or CD and is approximately 60 minutes in length. The fictional audio story focuses on two visually impaired teens (one blind from birth, the other recently blinded in an accident). Through the story, the felt needs of of visually impaired youth are gently dealt with, including often having a "self-focus." The plot and story elements lend the content to benefitting both recently visually impaired and long-term impaired youth. Additional content includes Scripture engagement and content delivered by the main characters in the fictional story, and includes an introduction to the stories of Joseph, Job, Saul (Apostle Paul) and the story of Jesus. Additional content includes sharing where listeners can read more, the salvation message, prayer and the "Next Steps."
