In May 2012, OneHope completed research to follow up on a few of the findings revealed in the Attitude and Behaviors of Youth (ABY) Filipino Youth Report of 2009. This extension report found that older students, more often than younger students, yearn to spend more time with their family members to foster good relationships, trust, and openness with one another. Both upper and lowerclassmen find solace in their interpersonal relationships (family, friends, and even God) most often when faced with a difficult, dangerous, or scary life situation. Younger students report most often that their families strongly influence their perception about sex and that their sexuality their perception of sex/sexuality is still negative.
