Currently, OneHope products for teens rely heavily upon ethereal images. With access to still images from the LUMO films, the Product Development (PD) Team was interested in understanding teens’ preferences for LUMO images and related ethereal images.
Additionally, PD desired to understand teens’ preferences for filtered images. Therefore, in partnership with the Research Team, this research study was commissioned to:
1. Compare and contrast student views of LUMO images including scriptural content with ethereal images including the same scripture content.
2. Determine if the LUMO images aid in comprehension to the same effect or greater than the ethereal images.
3. Determine if teens prefer the LUMO images more than ethereal images.
4. Determine teens’ preferences for four filter styles (spread, Instagram, magazine, and filtered).
