The Hope Speaks ESL Teacher's Guide edition of the Book of Hope consists of 24 lessons divided into two levels (Levels 1 & 2) with 12 lessons each. Each lesson includes the following components: Topic, Theme, Objectives; a “Watch, Listen, and Discuss” section utilizing the ESL video that matches the lesson’s topic; a “Listen, Read and Evaluate” section in which an audio recording of Scripture is played that corresponds to the topic of the lesson, after which the same passage of Scripture is read aloud by students; a Talk About It section with questions to prompt discussion and help students with their reading comprehension; a Vocabulary and Grammar Practice section; followed by Practice Exercises and Workplace Skills Practice.
